A recent Forgotten Land - Riverside, Witcher 2 Music Video on thewitcher.com offers a stylish look at The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, CD Projekt RED's RPG sequel. The video concludes mentioning the upcoming Xbox 360 edition, followed by this: "Soon new and improved PC Version 2.0," so it seems that much like the Enhanced Edition Director's Cut of the original The Witcher, the sequel will be receiving some sort of major post-release update. We may hear more about this from Gamescom this week, as word on the website is: "Last, but not least, don’t forget to watch for our announcements during the show; we’ve prepared something really special for our fans!" Thanks VG247 via AE Portal.

... ... 4) Actually listening to, and respecting their PC customers. Ah you mean "respect" as in when they pretended for shits'n'giggles that they were out of business and that everyone lost access to the games that they bought throughout the years? Or "respect" as in when they actually did cut us off for three or four days from our games to get their lame relaunch shit together? Or "respect" as in shutting down the official The Witcher 2 forums on their website right before the release of the game?
Yup. I'm simply overwhelmed by all the big phat respectz that these guys have been showing us .
BOO-friggin'-HOO! They pulled a bad joke which in the end harmed no one and that's all you can find to blame them for? Weak.
Also...how do you lose access to games that you can download and put aside to reinstall at any time? GOG isn't Steam. So at the most you lost the ability to download a game that you should have the install file for anyway.
And they explained the forum problems they were having. They paid someone to work on their forums and that person didn't deliver, so they shut them down while a new forum programmer made their new forums...which they have reopened.
You have nothing of consequence to blame these guys for... |
