Do I want 3D?

It depends.

If we're talking true 3D holograms that you can see "around" and such, then that would be cool for some select situations.

If we're talking about stuff like the Nintendo 3DS and various TVs, then no. I really don't care for it. Ignoring the fact that I have a slight astigmatism in one eye making it harder for me to enjoy that film effect, even when I see it I rarely care about it.

Then again, I'd really like to some day have access to a Star-Trek styled holodeck. But I doubt that'll be around for at least a century.
