An investor group involving Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick is working on a deal to buy a controlling interest in Myspace, the struggling social networking site currently owned by Rupert Murdock's News Corp, reports Reuters, citing "a source familiar with the matter." Word is Kotick's group is the leading candidate for a sale, which will likely be for under $100 million, in spite of the site's $580 million price tag back in 2005. According to their source: "Kotick's involvement is personal and nothing to do with Activision at this stage." Thanks The Grifter.
