Crysis 2′s Shocking Tech Compromise- Proof on Rock, Paper, Shotgun (thanks nin via Dubious Quality) is a funny article trolling fans unhappy with Crysis 2, offering charts and statistics to support the following premise: Having played Crysis 2, the latest from the former technical innovators at Crytek, I have to express that I’m not only horrified, but also shocked, at the paucity of graphical accomplishments in what should have been a groundbreaking game. It’s quite clear that massive compromises have been made in order to keep the console market happy, meaning the PC version of the game is crippled to the point where it’s literally impossible to look at without feeling physically sick. I have put together some detailed analysis of the differences between CryEngine 2 and CryEngine 3, to prove that the developers have let everyone down.

Why do you care? It's a public forum, no one needs a reason. Your "opinion" was pretty poorly framed and he was still more than reasonable in his response. He read the article and didn't find it funny, he wasn't just responding to the topic headline alone. I don't get how that warrants "lol grow some pubes" but I guess if you want to be considered a total idiot then that's your business. Way to be passive-aggressive. And, yes, I wanted to be a total idiot to him because he was acting like an entitled kid. I found it funny, he didn't, he told me that in a very dismissive manner so I told him off.
I can tell you off too, but then you'll probably cry and call me a jerk, which actually would be warranted. |
