Battle: Los Angeles Game Plans?

The Australian Classification Database offers an indication that a video game is in the works based on Battle: Los Angeles, a science fiction movie due in March featuring a Marine platoon facing off against an alien invasion in Los Angeles, according to IMDb. The website lists the game under "Computer Games (Multi Platform)" with an MA15+ rating and shows it being published by Konami and developed by Saber Interactive (Will Rock and TimeShift). not a terrible pedigree for a movie game, i actually liked time shift. should have been much better (i remember when the main character was supposed to be voiced by dennis quaid).

still, if the avatar and matrix games couldn't be good, even with active developer support from the movies' directors i don't know if anything can be. chronicles of riddick is firmly in the realm of "statistical anomaly".
