New Catalyst Reference Drivers

New version 11.1 Catalyst reference drivers for AMD/ATI graphics cards are now available, along with a new version 11.1a Catalyst hotfix and new version 10.12 application profiles. The new drivers have performance improvements for F1 2010 and Left 4 Dead 2, and they are available for Windows 7/Vista 32-bit, Windows XP 32-bit, Windows 7/Vista 64-bit, and Windows XP 64-bit. fyi these 11.1 drivers are older than the hotfixes that have been out for a week now. AMD released 2, 11.1a hotfix drivers one dated jan13th one dated jan26th the later hotfix jan26 gave me a problem with my HD5970 but the jan13th ones didnt. the problem I got was the second GPU would stay at maximum load 100 in 2d. problem solved by going back to the first hotfix 11.1a from jan13 also a note of mention the WHQL 11.1 drivers do not have several features that the hotfixes have, such as AMD tessellation, AF AA, EQ AA. and other features.
