Second, because why buy it on Steam when you can get it on GoG DRM free, with a free "extra" game to go with it? An added benefit of the GoG deal for us repressed euro types, is that we get to pay 44.99 USD instead of EUR 44.99, which has become Steam's norm for currency conversion.... The only thing I've bought on Steam since they got their shiny regional pricing up and running a year or two back, has been package deals and indies. Though that's more a matter of principle than a genuine financial concern, I'll confess, so I suspect Slashman has it right.. |
