Activision announces the worldwide launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops, calling Treyarch's new military shooter sequel the most anticipated title of the year. "From the beginning, we focused our entire studio on creating the most immersive Call of Duty experience ever," said Treyarch Studio Head Mark Lamia. "Treyarch wanted to give Call of Duty fans the ultimate entertainment package this year. Black Ops delivers an epic and cinematic single player experience, an incredibly deep multiplayer offering, and endless hours of co-op fun with Zombies." Here's more on the game: Call of Duty: Black Ops takes players around the globe, behind enemy lines, in the deepest and most intense Call of Duty® experience ever. The title raises the bar for online gameplay with an arsenal of features, including unprecedented player customization fueled by an all-new in-game currency system, new Wager Match gameplay modes, Theater video recording capabilities to capture favorite gameplay experiences, Combat Training and more. The Call of Duty: Black Ops’ launch follows a record-setting number of midnight openings worldwide, as thousands of retail outlets opened their doors at midnight to deliver the first copies.
On related notes, according to gamrFeed Black Ops has already racked up 4.5 million preorders (thanks Digg); Activision's Dan Amrich blogs to report bugs on the Call of Duty: Black Ops Forums (thanks Eurogamer); and Eurogamer has a video of the first 15 minutes of gameplay for those who like that sort of thing.

For instance I do not like Diablo and the similar types of games and I hate World of Warcraft but you guys don't see me go around all the forums shitting all over those games. To each their own. Because they're juvenile and they can't see past themselves. They're not familiar with the concept of "to each their own". It appalls them that you like a game that they do not, so they have this uncontrollable urge to berate you and the game you like.
Makes you proud to share this earth with people like that, eh? Step lightly, boys. What you guys are saying right now is basically that discussions are for juvenile, self-important assholes.
I don't understand why muslims let goats drown in their own blood because of some fucked up tradition or how many Chinese people can skin animals alive. I'm sure as hell not gonna sit back and say: Go the fuck ahead, I don't understand this shit... but R.E.S.P.E.C.T, right?
I see allot of bad shit in CoD that I don't wanna see in other FPS games EVER and I'm scared shitless that because of this overhyped abomination of a so called First Person Shooter other games of the same genre will become similar to this surprisingly successful game.
In an ideal world, everyone would agree with everyone else. That's not the case. Live with it, and stop making people that give a shit feel bad about doing so. |
