The Ubisoft Forums offer links to new patches for The Settlers 7: Paths to a Kingdom to update the strategy/management sequel to version 1.10. There are full and incremental patches for both the PC and Mac editions, though they suggest using the auto-update function. The manual patches are mirrored on AtomicGamer and The Patches Scrolls, and the change notes follow.
Improvements
- Players will now be informed if a player is lagging behind when loading a multiplayer session
- Players who are not responding for more that 45 seconds can now be kicked by vote
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a rare freeze when conquering a sector owned by another player or AI
- Fixed a non upgradeable tower on “Battle for Tanholm”
- Fixed a bug with a non reachable sector on “Grassland Mesa”
- Fixed a savegame issue on the 1st campaign map
- Fixed a bug with the game´s connection to Facebook
- Fixed a rare bug where the new victory points “Pacifist” and “Ascetic” were not awarded correctly
- Fixed a rare crash with corrupt savegames

I have had no issues with the DRM ever, and I have had a TON of fun playing this game. If you like city building games, I highly recommend it. Multi-player is awesome as well. Don't believe the haters...they just like to hate.
Not to mention this is like the 4th patch? They keep adding content and fixing anything we bring up on the forums. Thats a lot better than most companies I have had to deal with. |
