Battlefield 2142 Patch Beta

The Electronic Arts Forums have word that the version 1.51 patch for Battlefield 2142 was in public beta testing over the weekend, a full 21 months after plans for the new version were first announced. Bugs and issues are reported in this thread, and word is this may lead to a full release: "The purpose of this Beta is to test server stability and let you see the new content. If the servers hold up to the stress test this version will become the release version that everyone will have." Thanks Ant via Planet Battlefield.
