Left 4 Dead Patched

Steam News has word of new update for Left 4 Dead that's automatically available though Valve's digital distribution dealie. The update includes mp_gamemode with the console variables for server logging, shows progress on achievements with multiple criteria, and removes a survival related command exploit.

I'm about ready to give up on on-line play for this one. Not because of the lag, but the hacks. It's getting almost as bad as CS. In the past day I've run into wall hackers, auto-targeters, and invincible zombies. Wow, that's just unlucky. I haven't noticed any cheaters in this game at all, and I've had it since November.
