Grand Turismo PC?

VG247 posted a story a couple of days ago with quotes from SCEA about the possibility that the Grand Turismo series of racing games may be shifting gears, and heading onto other platforms. They combine this with previous indications the series may have a PC release in China to work up hopes that the PC is one of those platforms. The specific provocative quote is this: "But we look for that franchise to continue on as many platforms as possible." Thanks Ant and Digg.

This would be so strange if it happens. Almost as though Sony would be admitting that they are unsure if they can get the sales they need on PS3 alone. I think their original multi-platform hinting meant that it would also come to PSP but you never know.
