Ships Ahoy - F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin

Publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and developer Monolith Productions announce that F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin should now be available in North American stores for Games for Windows, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. A recently released playable Windows demo offers a sample of the horror-themed first-person shooter sequel, while there are also demos on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace and the PlayStation Store. Here's a bit from the announcement:

BURBANK, Calif. – February 10, 2009 – F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin, developed by Monolith Productions and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, ships to retail stores in North America today for Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system and Games for Windows®. F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin is the sequel to F.E.A.R., the critically acclaimed supernatural first-person shooter, and ushers in a new dimension of paranormal horror, cinematic combat and highly kinetic action.

F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin is a blend of advanced visceral combat mixed with seamless game pacing set inside a sinister and paranormal universe that begins shortly before the ending of F.E.A.R. A Special Forces squad is on a routine mission when the city of Auburn is rocked by a supernatural explosion. Alma, a girl with immense power and a thirst for revenge, has unleashed her wrath upon the city and thrown it into chaos. Tension builds as the squad must combat enemy forces and the supernatural as they struggle to find a way to stop Alma and uncover the mysterious forces arrayed against them before it’s too late.

I wish one could, im in love with the sharpness, but not with everything else.

to end my story, according to the NEC tech i talked to, the color bleed is on an "acceptable" level, when i notice it (I'm partial color blind!) then that means its crap. Or maybe im too sensitive.. or hell, maybe i do have a really good crt, how did the bad crt's look? I forgot. Only the good ones are still traded (you can still buy the brilliance 202p70, and if you are looking for a huge brick on your desk for photo proofing/Texture creation, this is it, only 610€ apparently I'm not the only one very fond fond of this screen.

I just want to say, NO REVIEW said that theres VERY noticeable color bleeding and blue shift when dark (color temp changes depending on brightness). They all rated this monitor extremely high, hence i bought it. I am never again gonna listen to reviews about lcd's on the web (this was my 3rd try).

I will wait out till OLED comes about, and fixes ALL problems hopefully
