More KOTOR MMO Hints

Gamasutra has word on plans for "the official unveiling of the game that's been rumored about for years" at the San Francisco offices of LucasArts on October 21, saying the invitation to the event sports the logos of both BioWare and LucasArts. This is another indicating the time is finally nigh to officially unveil the KOTOR-themed MMOG, as this report fits right in with a similar article last week in UK newspaper The Daily Star (story). They do also point out while a KOTOR MMOG is "one of the industry's worst-kept secrets," and there is some futuristic artwork on the invite, there are no Star Wars logos, so you'll still have to use the Force and trust your feelings on this one.

Yes, wanting to expand your business is greed.

Fucking moron. Would you like to making turning a profit illegal? Seriously, make a reasonable argument or go jump off a god damn bridge. I'm so sick of people tossing around the word "greed" anytime a business tries to make a smart business decision.

They aren't a fucking charity. If they want to try and make an MMO, good for them. If it sucks don't buy it. It's no more greedy than McDonalds selling a Big Mac to your fat ass, or the grocery store expecting payment for your 100-pack of ramen.




If you don't like where gaming is heading, stop giving your money to the people who are taking it in that direction.
