Buy MMOG Levels

The Cal Ripken's Real Baseball Website unveils a new plan where players can purchase new levels, rather than earning them within the game, in what seems like the equivalent of virtual steroids for the virtual sport (thanks DrDeath). These level gains are permanent, and provide the same prerequisites to join leagues and tournaments as game-earned levels. A quick run-through in our math-o-matic 2000 tells us a new player can now join the game and immediately jump to level 99 by spending (click, click, click, peep, buzz), $209.04.

7. Buy MMOG Levels Aug 1, 2008, 20:04 [VG]Reagle
This is a wonderful game, with a large following. I used to play it. And its also a free game. There are tons of people building characters who are pitchers or infielders. And the games are very competetive. THere is a ton of teams. As far as buying levels its a little gay. But they need to make money somehow.

I suggest trying it before putting it down.
