Space Siege Demo Countdown Changes

The countdown timer on NVIDIA's nZone that seems to be ticking down to the release of a Space Siege demo has been changed since it was mentioned yesterday (story). 24 hours have been added, which means the zero hour for the timer is midnight Monday night/Tuesday morning, which makes more sense than the original countdown, which would have ended at midnight Sunday night/Monday morning. With no official announcement accompanying this, it is actually not confirmed that this timer it counting down to the demo release, though it certainly gives a strong impression this is the case.

So many PC games don't even have demos available nowadays. I would never have bought this game without one, but if I like the demo I may buy the game. Rather cliched and seems easy enough, but for whatever reason it isn't common practice to provide demos anymore. yeah and then the devs are horrified to find people are pirating it just to find out what its like, rather than spend $100 (where i am anyway) just to find out with no way to return it if they dont like it.
