With the coming of the heat we're getting daily thunderstorms around here again. These freak out Hudson the wonder dog so badly I'm really considering asking the vet for some sort of sedatives for her when things get really bad. I don't really want to drug her up, but it's hard to imagine that this would be worse for her than the shivering near-catatonic state the thunder provokes.

Neither of our dogs are bothered by storms, but our 12 year old is. He gets freaked out and tries to act like it doesn't bother him. And then sits in your lap until it's over.

We've been getting some nasty temps here in Dallas the last two weeks. Went to a water park on Saturday and got fried despite slathering ourselves with protection every 20 minutes. Guess our only saving grace today is that OK is firing a bunch of thunderstorms at us for the remainder of the day.
