Penny Arcade Episode One Demos

Playgreenhouse.com now offers playable demos for Episode One of On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness, the adventure/role-playing game based on the Penny Arcade webcomic. There are three demos, covering Windows, Linux, and Mac. Word is: "On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness is an episodic RPG-adventure game series set in a deranged comic-book meets-pulp-horror 1920s universe. Armed with unconventional weaponry and witty repartee, you join forces with the Gabe and Tycho, the crime-solving team of the Startling Developments Detective Agency to make war on bizarre enemies and solve the mysteries hidden deep in the sinister heart of New Arcadia." The downloads are mirrored on AtomicGamer, eXp.de, FanGaming, FileFront, and Gamer's Hell.

Maybe if it starts getting glowing reviews and have a couple more episodes out, I'll give it another chance.

Of course it will get glowing reviews, it's Penny Arcade. They could slap their name on a pile of shit and gamers would eat it up.
