The UFO: Alien Invasion Website has a new version 2.2.1 of the various platforms versions of this freeware counter-UFO strategy game, addressing some lingering bugs in version 2.2 (thanks Gamer's Hell). The Changelog has full details on the patch, which removes civilian death limits, improves the in-game IRC client, adds UFO Theory to the Tech Tree, and more.

Hyatus

I tried this game out the other day. The tactical and base operations side is great. It's a good pseudo-X-Com sequel. The only serious complaint I've had is with the ship-to-ship combat side of things. It's very bland and, IMHO, very tough.
