Out of the Blue

The pastrami yesterday was well worth the trip, it was just perfect (I like mine extra lean). A post in the forums yesterday suggested Roll-n-Roaster as a better restaurant to hit in Brooklyn for its famed roast beef, which brought to mind my own favorite roast beef place in the borough, Brennan and Carr. Thing is I can't remember the last time I was there (I was kind of under the impression it had closed), so that may need to be our next culinary road trip. Anyway, for anyone off to Kings County New York, here are the related locations if you are feeling adventurous (and hungry): Jay & Lloyd's Kosher Deli, Roll-n-Roaster, and Brennan and Carr.

I am not allowed to be in the City of Sin for more than 4 days at a time.

I forget that a requirement of my body is to sleep....turns into a 4 day bender.

I'm out there for 5, but I get my sleep...

Speaking of, one of my quests is to secure the recipe for the House of Blue's "Alabama Chain Gang" drink, which I've been unable to find. Holy cow, those are tasty...
