So the extra week between the close of the playoffs and the Super Bowl is over,
so with "the big game" a week off, the hype will begin in earnest. That said I
am trying my best to ignore the fact that today is the seventh anniversary of
the Giant's being dismantled by the Ravens in Super Bowl XXXV. Ouch.

Well the reason for exclusives is they (for lack of better phrasing) are similar to how the HD-DVD/Blu-Ray 'war'. Why purchase 1 if all the company's are supporting the other?
Granted there are big titles such has Halo 3 (which I honest believe brought the FPS market back to consoles since GoldenEye), but Dead Rising and Chromehounds were the 'system sellers' for myself.
So when I look at other system like the PS3 and Wii, I look at 'ok what can I get on these systems that I can't get on one I already own'. Hell I bought a gamecube just for The Wind Waker.
