Democracy 2 Patch

The Democracy 2 Website now offers the first patch for Democracy 2, bringing Positech's political strategy simulator to version 1.01. Word is: "Changes in the patch include some bug fixes, plus the addition of 2 new features. The player now pays a different 'price' in political capital for changing, canceling, raising and lowering policies, so it's easier to lower taxes than raise them. In addition, new policies can now be introduced at any level, rather than defaulting to a mid-point. Players who have already bought the full version can re-use their download links to get an updated copy." The recent Democracy 2 demo (story) was released already updated to this version.
