I just got home from the scene....we were north of MPLS when it happened and flew down the road (followed 2 troopers at about 85-90 mph) to get there as a call went out for all first responders in the area.

By the time we arrived (jumped into a service vehicle at a checkpoint that had guys on site that were involved) they had more help than they could handle, it took over an hour just to get everyone organized. I tended to two individuals with non life threatening injuries until they could free up an ambulance to pick them up.

There wasn't much for me to do after that, so I checked in and got out of the way so they could continue the searches in the water and the rubble.

Talking with all of the construction people in the area and the two that I was tending to, they only couldn't account for one guy that was on a machine that was crushed by a water tanker and pulled underwater and another piece of the bridge then slid on top of the section the guy was on.

Secret service was there pretty quick to talk to everyone that was involved. FBI was also showing up when I was leaving.

A great kudos goes to all of the responders, they showed up from all over the place and it was a great thing to see. They actually had TOO MANY responders, but it is always a good feeling to see that and see familiar faces from all over the metro.

I posted a lot and there are stories to share, but I need to get something to eat and return some phone this is VERY close to my house and cell service is difficult right now, a lot of people are wondering if I am ok, as we use the road all the time.

Wow. Just surreal in person.....just amazing. Seeing in on TV now for the first

Rev. Norb: I'd just like to say that four for a dollar Tijuana tacos seemed like a good idea at the time. Please pass the toilet paper.
