BF2 Stats Still Wonky

A new Battlefield Update thanks everyone for the patience they are (presumably) showing for problems with Battlefield 2 statistics reporting that are still occurring (thanks Ant and Planet Battlefield), despite an update from a couple of weeks ago that said stats catch-up processing was underway, and an update from a week ago stating the catch-up was complete. Word is:

Thank you for your patience regarding the outage we are experiencing.

We are aware that there are still player’s not getting their stats reported accurately. Our Customer Support team, Engineers and Partners are working day and night to narrow down the cause of the problem. We appreciate all of the information that you have passed on to us for research. We believe we have enough for the time being so there is no need to send us more data.

We all understand the importance of stats in Battlefield and want to stress that we will not rest until this problem is solved and everyone is getting accurate stats again.

If you have any comments, or would like updates to this issue than we welcome you to post on our forums as well as use the “notification” button at the bottom of this page for any changes or updates on this issue.

Is the whole bug just another disgusting big corp tactic to forc us to buy their new game (namely BF 2142)... Seems like the same push from Microsoft to force us to switch over to Vista or you won't be able to play dx10 games. Luckily us those hackers have released a patch to take care of that...
