X3: Reunion 2.0 Patches

Egosoft offers new patches for X3: Reunion, which add a number of new features to the space combat sequel (thanks Frans). Word is: "The final update to X³: Reunion is now available for free download. Taking the game to a whole new level, X³ 2.0: Bala Gi Research Missions offers a host of new features and missions, allowing the player to delve deeper than ever before into the X universe." Included are new missions, a new HQ, new ships, and more. Downloads can be found on this page, and Steam news has word that an update is automatically available for the Steam edition, as well.

The 1.4 patch, several months ago, pretty much nixed all the 'it's still broken' type bugs. It's still a quirky game with a hideous UI, but there aren't any showstopper bugs that I'm aware of. I was able to play it through a couple times without problems.
