Two separate demos for Splinter Cell: Double Agent are now available, offering a single-player and a multiplayer sample of the latest installment in the stealthy Sam Fisher third-person shooter series. The single-player demo can be found on 3D Downloads, 3D Gamers, Boomtown (registration required), ComputerGames.ro, FileFront, Gameguru Mania, Gamer's Hell, VGPRO, and Worthplaying. The multiplayer demo is available from 3D Downloads, 3D Gamers, Boomtown (registration required), ComputerGames.ro, FileFront, Gameguru Mania, Gamer's Hell, VGPRO, and Worthplaying.

I tried it on a G80 (8800) with Vista RC2 and it actually ran pretty good. The only visual problems I saw was the characters looked like they exploded. So Sam and the other characters aren't rendered correctly at all, but everything else worked and ran fast.

Now of course I am running Vista-G80 drivers that are a little old so these problems I'm seeing now could be gone in a newer set.

I didn't try it in XP with the G80.
