The EA Forums (thanks Frans and Worthplaying) offer official word on plans for a Need for Speed: Most Wanted demo:

Only update is this - we're still on track for a release in the early part of November. But PLEASE don't start hounding me on 11/1 about it. =)

Early November means 11/1-11-14. (As I interpret 11/15 to equate with mid-November.)

I've played the demo for this on the Xbox and except for some interesting body sway that they've added in, I was hugely unimpressed. Running it at hdtv resolutions on the PC might change my mind though.
