Just to offer the 'told you so' about my dread of the bye week for the Giants a couple of weeks ago, this past weekend's Giants loss to the dreaded Cowboys brings the G-men's lifetime record in the week following the bye to 3-14. With their 3-1 pre-bye record now at 3-2, it's hard not to recall how last year's post-bye loss helped propel a 4-1 pre-bye record into a 6-10 record for the season. Blech.

Here is the review of the largest noncommercial movie site. Ouch... and I generally really agree with his reviews. I've been reading that guy's reviews for years. Of course, I still expect it to do well in theaters. I mean, hell, The Fog came in #1 in the box office last week and it has a Rotten Tomatoes rating of 3%. That's the lowest rating I've ever seen. Doom is currently at 44% (Fog was at 10% last week at this time).
