Battlefield 2 Patch

The long-promised patch for Battlefield 2 has arrived, updating DICE's military shooter sequel to version 1.03. There is a new 171 MB client patch on the EA Games Website, mirrored on 3D Gamers, AusGamers (Australia), eXtreme-Players.de (Germany), Filecloud, FileFront, FilePlanet (registration required), Filerush (torrent), Fragland.net, Gameguru Mania, Gameswelt (Germany), GameSpot, Playfuls, VGPro, and Worthplaying; a 128 MB non-ranked dedicated server on the EA Games Website; mirrored on 3D Gamers, eXtreme-Players.de (Germany), FileFront, GameSpot, and Worthplaying; and a 133 MB non-ranked Linux dedicated server on the EA Games Website; mirrored on 3D Gamers, eXtreme-Players.de (Germany), FileFront, GameSpot, and Worthplaying. The patch notes outline what's new.

The pilot does not have to get out to get a cap. Everyone else has to get out to speed it up. The good thing is, the chopper will be closer to the ground and moving less. A well placed grenade into the side door will kill the pilot.

Should bring some new tactics.. im looking forward to it.
