Weeds has been an interesting new series so far, naturally enough the show's buzz is quite strong. The new episode was a little wacky though; there's something about the characters that doesn't always ring true, and last night seemed to exhibit that weakness throughout. Hopefully it's just a speed bump... five episodes is a bit quick to go and Jump The Shark.

A good friend does not constitute you. Most of my relatives do not qualify for welfare, but they are dirt poor and being punished because they work instead of being lazy and sitting around. Perhaps we should focus on our problems a tad bit and get a few things in order. Like I don't know, A better health care system, or a better social security system. Just a thought.
