The official Doom Movie Website is online, dedicated to Universal Pictures' big screen adaptation of the computer game series (thanks Gamecloud). The site includes links to the trailer for the flick on IGN, and IGN has also posted a related feature looking back at the game's influence (thanks Frans) with quotes from Human Head's Tim Gerritsen and Valve's Doug Lombardi. The movie based on DOOM is due in theaters on October 21.

I guess their first choice to cast Martin Lawrence in the lead fell through... Where are the cute kids that need saving/escorting? Where is the faithful pet? Where is the comedic sidekick? Where is the improbable love interest? Aww, I guess if this flops, they'll always have another Miss Congeniality sequel to fall back on...
