Source Rollback

The Steam News story (thanks Richard) about yesterday's Source update (story) has word that the update it heralded has been rolled back (is the opposite of an update a downdate?). Word is: "We have rolled back all the Counter-Strike: Source changes apart from the de_inferno update to fix a hang bug some users are experiencing. These changes will be re-released next week."

Bhruic, of course, Steam's update is something the user has total control over. Each game on the Steam list has a setting: 'Always this game up to date automatically' or 'Do not update this game automatically'. As usual, Dante_uk is talking out his ass.
