Dunno what everybody is getting worked up about. Backwards compatibility has always been a "nice" thing, but not something I ever considered absolutely necessary. Why? Well, it's not like I'm chucking my old console. Then again, it's not like I find myself going back and playing old console games a lot either. I admit to getting a Halo fix every now and then, but honestly, if it works on XBOX 360, great! If not? No big deal. I also don't get folks who read as gospel console articles written for a site which bills itself as "First in IT sales and marketing". Now...let's see if this Nintendo informant is full of it or not.
