Happy Mother's Day! See, thanks to the late update, that can serve as a last-minute reminder in case you forgot to make a call for the occasion today. Today is also my bro's birthday, so happy birthday to WalterEgo, who missed being born on Mother's Day by a scant few hours if I recall correctly. I got to see my bro last night at a gathering of family and friends, and while the new baby is too little for such things, he brought along my older niece, who was quite sweet to me considering we've only spent a limited time together previously, so I am a happy uncle.

R.I.P.: Peter Rodino, who led Nixon investigation, dies.
