I mentioned recently that I was experimenting with removing refined sugar from my diet for a while, concerned that getting half of one's daily calories from soda is not what keeps Jack LaLanne going at the age of 90. Actually in looking up Jack on the Wikipedia to check his age, I see he was a self-described "sugarholic" up to the age of 15, so he can be my inspiration here. Anyway, I am pleased to report that this has (unsurprisingly) resulted in me having a good deal more energy, an enhanced appetite for real food, and by all accounts, a generally more pleasant personality. That last bit suggests that, while I was not going off on any serious rampages, I may have been a bit of a non-stop Cornholio for over 20 years now! Are you threatening me?
