Shadow Ops: Red Mercury Demo

A demo for Shadow Ops: Red Mercury is now available offering the chance to try one level of single-player gameplay from the PC edition of Atari's first-person shooter. The 292 MB demo is available for download from 3D Gamers, ActionTrip, Boomtown (registration required), Computer Games Online, FileFront, Fileoholic, FilePlanet (registration required), Filerush (torrent), FileShack (registration required), Gameguru Mania, Gamer's Hell, GenGamers, and Worthplaying. On a related note, Atari Develops Shadow Ops Red Mercury for AMD 64-Bit Processors has word on plans for a 64-bit version of the game: "The 64-bit version of the game will be included with the 32-bit version and will allow for improved textures, better image quality, faster game performance and an enhanced gameplay experience."

Unreal 2 was quite fun first time through and most of its flaws wern't the designers fault, bad timing for release, no multiplayer initially and alot of contract work on the game which can be different to all the team being at the same studio as far as whats right and whats wrong, only so many times you want to keep uploading images etc becomes a pain in the ass, easier when you have someone you work with to crit work.

Though ror did some fantastic texturing work even if it was via contract.

As for doom3 yes it was good, felt abit bitter about it obviously not being aslong as it should of been because id wanted to make more money by having some random team make an expansion.
