Out of the Blue

Things are going quite well minding the youngsters... we had a cookout last night where a couple of experiments came off nicely (mussels, which the kids will eat, but I will not myself, and proscuitto-wrapped asparagus). After a pancake breakfast today, MrsBlue has occupied them with some roller skating while I worked, and soon we'll head off to the Bronx Zoo to say hi to some critters. 20 hours, and no meltdowns! So far so good!!

People have an annoying tendancy to "steal" names, either intentionally or otherwise. Or steal from brand names, as in Del Monte or Levi if you remember that link. If you want something original, fish out an old reciept and pick a purchase at random it seems. At a pinch, spell a normal name really poorly. Et voila! You have a new old name that sounds a bit foreign! Never heard the name Halsy or Sawyer as a first name before. Is Halsy short for something or mean anything?
