Out of the Blue

Well happy spring to those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, as today is the vernal equinox. The snow on the ground outside indicates that the groundhog's pessimism was justified, but with spring having sprung, one can only hope that warmer days are imminent (either that or a breakdown). For those in the southern hemisphere, happy autumn... here's hoping you have a milder winter than we experienced in these parts.

o the DOOR? Hell, I had one of my cats drop one on my BED. IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT, WHILE I WAS IN IT.

I am glad my roommates and I do not have a cat/doggy door, or I am sure one of our cats would do this! (We have three total between all the mates)

Luckily, they have all been trained to sit/lay and meow at the door waiting to get in, and they know to get back in when it is starting to go dark.

nd there were at least 2 or 3 times where I'd get up in the morning and find a snake body, minus the chewed off head, lying in the hall

None of our cats kill the snake, just play with it, but if my dog sees them playing with it he will join.
Which is fine, because he is not trying to cause it harm, but he gets so excited so easily and gets carried away and it can get nasty!
