Deus Ex: Invisible War Updates

Eidos Interactive sends word of some updates to the Deus Ex Invisible War Website. Along with an affirmation that the game is on track for a December 3 release for both the PC and the Xbox, this is what they have to say: "With this update of the official Deus Ex: Invisible War website we bring you more information about the intriguing world of Deus Ex: Invisible War. New profiles on a handful of the players and the organizations they represent in the Deus Ex world. Fresh data on some of the Bots and transgenic creatures you will encounter in your trip across the dark globe. And new information on some of the biomods and weapons that you will rely upon for your very survival. Learn and remember..."

It was lifeless and dull.

I enjoyed it for about two weeks, so I definitely got my money's worth. It came noweher near capturing the spirit of Daggerfall and Arena though. Outside areas were spectacular, but there just wasn't anything interesting to do. The dungeons were tiny, you'd go in, spend 30 seconds to a minute killing everything for some worthless treasure and then you left to go to the next one. The capital city, Vivec, was an incredible letdown when I finally got there.

At some point I simply lost interest in playing and never went back. There are thousands of mods out there but I've never had any desire to play any of them.
