Console Crossovers

TDK Mediactive Europe announces plans to bring World Racing, which already allows Xbox gamers to play the part of "an inexperienced test driver for Mercedes-Benz" (you didn't know they were hiring test driver interns, did you?), to the PC. The game is due in September, and word is: "The videogame World Racing, a racing simulation of the next generation, offers you the chance to drive the fastest models of the famous manufacturer, the vintage cars and some prototypes you have never seen before. Experience a challenging game in a large spectrum of missions and races, and discover some of the most beautiful racetracks ever made in a game." Also, due to (or perhaps in spite of) popular demand, Simon & Schuster Interactive announces plans to bring the outrageousness of the Xbox's Outlaw Golf to the PC this September.

Has anyone played this "World Racing" game on the XBox? Is it any good? Where is it on the scale from arcade to sim?

Just wondering if this is going to be another crappy console port, or if there's a chance it could actually be good...
