Fileplanet people getting their demos as exclusive is absolutely no different from magazines who get exclusives on their cover disks. And that's been happening for a decade.
Good point - besides, does anyone REALLY think that gamers aren't going to buy a game if they sign a petition to get the demo for free?
Let me put it another way:
What if <insert new game title here> only had a demo on FilePlanet? The full game got outstanding reviews in the press and all of their friends were playing it. Is that enough to stop someone who signed the petition from buying it?
I don't think so. If it does, they need help.
