Namco Awards Hip Games
Exclusive PC Publishing Rights to Dead to Rights in North America and Europe

is the press release announcing that the console stand-by is coming to the PC
platform. Here's the deal: Leading video games publisher, Namco Hometek
Inc. announced today that the company has signed a five-year exclusive licensing
agreement with Hip Games(TM) for the rights to publish million unit-selling
video game property, Dead to Rights(TM) for the PC. Hip Games, the publishing
arm of Canada's leading provider of electronic entertainment, Hip Interactive
Corp. (TSX: HP - News),
will begin shipping Dead to Rights(TM) PC in North America in fall 2003. Dead to
Rights(TM) PC will launch in Europe in October 2003 and will be distributed by
L.S.P.

If this port is:
- prison level (shudder) - any minigame involving complexity equal to or below pressing buttons in an alternating fashion + more disarms + more weapons
Then I'll gladly pay for it. For a console shooter a lot of those levels were a ton of fun and probably the best implementation of a third-person shooter until Enter the Matrix came along (I heard PC version sucked cuz of poor control transfer, but I picked up the XBOX version and enjoyed the hell out of it).
