Earth & Beyond Preview

There's an Earth & Beyond Preview on The Wargamer with another set of impressions based on playing with a preview build of Westwood's upcoming MMORPG set in outer space. They offer an introduction to the game, a rundown on the storyline, the interface (which is curiously lacking in joystick support), navigating the vast game universe, the graphics, the three races, character skills, quests (and camping), the experience system, and more. Included are a couple of new screenshots.

I've been surprised at how well E&B has scaled up to the large numbers of players they now have

whatever dood, ive been in since like beta 3, and let me tell you. The beginning of beta 6 and 7 were aweful. When everybody hit those servers at once, yikes!
Luckily they cleaned up the mess quite nicely.
