As part of their Activate press event in Ireland, Activision has issued a pair of new, high resolution DOOM III screenshots, revealing more from the futuristic first-person shooter in development at id Software. Here are the two images:

If these shots are made with a Radeon9700....where is that Trueform-thingy? Not that many round edges in pic2 in my opinion. Maybe they use another gfx-card for them shots here?
