Journey's End in Sight! Dungeon Siege on Track for an April 2002 Release is a press release offering April 2002 as the first updated release date for Dungeon Siege, Gas Powered Games' upcoming RPG, since it was announced the game would not make its last targeted date, which was Fall 2001 (story). The release quotes GPG's Chris Taylor as saying they are happy with the decision to delay the game's release "as it allowed us to add that extra layer of polish that we often dream about."

Well, certainly the Total Annihilation community proves that point. Still going strong many years after the game dropped out of the mainstream gamin eye...an incredible community. Hopefully DS will inspire the same creativity.
