I usually don't get to Whiterun until 8 hours or so. I wind up clearing a bunch of caves near Helgen first, so that when the Dragon attacks I can at least DO something.

Just made Archmage again. That quest line (college of winterhold) is just really unsatisfying... How did Bethesda go from an utterly awesome quest line in Oblivion (slaying Mannimarco) to this? If you hurry, you can literally become Archmage in about two to three gamedays...

I am trying to get my house asap so I can store goods. SO I went to Whiterun asap this time. It took my probably 8+ the first time on xbox.
