Aliens: Colonial Marines "Bug Hunt" DLC Revealed?

The Official Xbox Magazine notes a photo on The Gearbox Software Forums of a Wal-Mart ad promoting new Bug Hunt DLC for Aliens: Colonial Marines, calling this a "$14.99 value," though not indicating what, if anything this will actually cost. It says this is due via download on March 19th, and offers the following description: "Team up with your friends to take on waves of increasingly difficult enemies in an all new game mode." Eh I meant to write something different there ,) Boring disconnected Areas, not boring Arenas ;p But while you ask, I wanted more extended gameplay, loot that drops everywhere not just in the DLC, an open world hub where things from DLC's go together, interacting DLC, not stand-alone DLC. And fully randomized enemies (where DLC enemies can spawn in normal game and vice versa).

To me, there is absolutely no motivation to play any of these areas, I am level 50 with 3 characters, in these areas loot drops are WORSE than anywhere else, Scarlet, Torque DLC is a good example, Torque weapons being the imo worst weapons in the entire game... .

They should have fixed the new game+ mode too (currently you can't reset the quest status) and not just add new areas, implement DLC content throughout, and not just in these areas, and add a way to play those damned audio logs in the game. Basically, I wanted a randomization element to enemies and loot. That may have been something that kept me playing. But so far I haven't even checked out any of the DLC for more than 30 minutes. There is no motivation to do anything with a level 50 character there. And I only like the Siren... the others are somehow extremely boring to play. Especially mechromancer... wee, a robot I can summon for a few seconds.. that is NOT my idea of having fun. I wanted an ARMY of robots. Or maybe a way to find upgrades for the robot, give him specific weapons and elements.. that kind of stuff.

So much potential, all wasted. Or basically, of all the DLC for this game, I did so far not like a single one. Because while it adds new stuff, wtf is the motivation to play any of it with a fixed level ceiling that isn't raised? It should have been +10 per DLC and they should add some additional way to gain XP and levels perks, maybe link when you max out the level the xp gain to the bass-ass rank gain so that there is a boost there too.

So yeah, obviously higher level ceiling means maybe adding a "end game" skill tree and instead of normal skill points an "end game skill point" that way balance could be maintained. But they did nothing. Now, i don't even care anymore. Borderlands 2 is boring to me, because there is no motivation to play it anymore.

Raised level cap was the only thing I cared about. And they did literally nothing. They let it die. And that is why Gearbox is stupid. They are unable to understand that new content does not equal new motivation to play when the level ceiling and loot/enemy system is the way it is. And what good does it do when they add a new leveling system in 6 months or more? By then, new games will be out, and nobody plays BL2 anymore. Even now, nearly nobody plays BL2 anymore.

The Sandhawk you get from Scarlett is amazing, and Torgue gives you an easy way to get the Double Penetrating Unkempt Harold (also amazing) and, if you use the 'Zerker, the Torgue off-hand weapon glitch can be very useful (and feels slightly less like cheating than the Evil Smasher glitch.)
