I have no clue why you tied that to social networking. I mean, it's pretty much a huge international phenonenon. I've never seen it posted on Facebook (and I've actually never watched the video), but I've seen it mentioned here, mentioned on other messageboards, worn as Halloween costumes, mocked on South Park as being an overdone Halloween costume, done at weddings, etc.

Don't blame your lack of pop culture references on "not into social networking." It's nothing more than being sheltered from stupid pop culture references. Which also isn't being said as a negative, lord knows I'm sheltered from half the stupid pop culture references out there. I have no clue who's won any American Idols, but I'd never preference that with "since I'm not into social networking..."
