Out of the Blue

MrsBlue and I went to a concert last night, as Graham Parker, one of my very favorite musical artists, has reunited with The Rumor, his band from his most successful commercial period. The show last night was their first public performance together in 30 years, and for a fan like myself, it was an incredible experience. I don't imagine this will mean a lot to most of you, as he is not particularly well-known, but if you are at all a fan of his work, I highly recommend the new album and tour.

Only heard of him in name. Sounds like you had an awesome show though, which is cool! Coworker of mine finally got the see the reschedule Eddie Vedder show here last week, and raved about how good it was.

Think my next show is Muse in March. I hope they dig into the back catalog a bit, as I wasn't wild about the latest album. But after waiting 9 years to see them (they had an accident, and didn't play in Dallas in 2004, as apart of Robert Smith's Curiosa festival), I'm hoping the show is worth the wait.

edit:
One-Hit Wonders & Their Unlikely Post-Musical Careers.

I will says Vanilla Ice's sidekick roll in That's My Boy was rather humorous.
