I have the Walking Dead and havent ever seen any issues from characters berating you from a later episodes for your NON choices from the previous.

Well I was trying to be vague and non spoilish. I don't recall the exact details, but someone claimed that a decision earlier in the game wasn't reflected correctly later on.

Let me see if I can find it...
